About Us

Push.Pedal.Power.
Welcome to Rattler Racing. It all started for us in 2015. Seeing a serious need for some mid-week mountain bike racing, we set out on creating a summer series. Little did we know how well it would be received. With a big emphasis on junior cycling, we launched the Colorado Junior Cup in 2018, and Fangdango in 2019. Also, throw in a 3-day stage race with G3, because why not? Our goal is to host events that we would love to do ourselves. While it may sound same ol’, customer service is our passion. If you haven’t been to one of our events, come on out. You won’t be disappointed. Send us your comments, ideas, and concerns. We value feedback and want to make our events better every time. See you on the trails!

Junior Cycling Project is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to create opportunities for kids to participate in mountain bike events, work to expand scholarship programs for young athletes, and work with other non-profits to get bikes in the hands of kids. Quite simply, get kids on bikes!! Proceeds and donations will go directly to our scholarship program for kids entering the Colorado State Mountain Bike Championship and students at Platte Canyon Schools.
Fangdango brings to Colorado a world class style XC course only a short drive from the Denver Metro area. You will be treated to a course with plenty of climbing, tricky technical descents, and fast flowy single-track. The spectating on this course is amazing and you will have the opportunity to watch your favorite racers pass by multiple times in just one lap.

Three unique course options are sure to bring you epic roads, punchy climbs, quick descents, wide open spaces, and will take you back to remote and beautiful country in and around Elbert County. Starting from Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Ranch south of Kiowa, Colorado, riders will be challenged for sure, but still enjoy the amazing views and high peaks of the Colorado front range.
So you want the "light" version of G3? OK, you have the option of doing the G3 Five-O. Each stage will be condensed and the total mileage for G3 Five-O will be right around 50 miles. The Grand Gear Grind (G3 Race) is a mountain bike stage race covering the best single-track that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Expect 50 miles of pristine and challenging trails in Winter Park and Granby.
The Grand Gear Grind (G3) is a mountain bike stage race covering the best single-track that Grand County Colorado has to offer. Expect 90 miles of pristine and challenging trails in Winter Park and Granby. You will be tested, you will be tired, you will be wondering why you signed up, you will cry, but mostly you will smile. We are proud to be working with the US Forest Service, Rendezvous, Granby Ranch and many others to bring you this race. They are playing a huge role in making this event happen and we thank them for being involved!
