Located just 90 miles west of Denver, Granby Ranch is a family-owned ski resort designed and operated with families in mind. The resort is laid out with two mountains, east and west, each offering different types and difficulties of terrain. While the East side is largely green and blue, the West side offers some more challenging blues and blacks, but all trails lead back to the base area, so family and friends can easily meet back at the same place.
With more than 3,300 acres of land, there are endless possible adventures available for guests at Charles S. McNeil Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch (PV). This regional camp includes a swimming pool, two lakes, one of Colorado’s premier mountain biking courses, natural rocking climbing areas, trading post, dining hall, two themed outpost camps, and that barely scratches the surface!
Similar in size and activities to a state park, Bear Creek Lake Park is a 2,624-acre gem that provides opportunities to hike, picnic, camp, fish, boat, windsurf, mountain or road bike, hit the swim beach or head to the archery range.
